Day-to-Day Outfit Updates

Easy daytime glamour

One word - RANDOM. This weeks blog is a random selection of pieces I spotted in the shops with my clients this week that I want to buy for Spring to refresh my own wardrobe. Rather than sensibly focussing on just one item and giving variations of that (see the Ruffle Shuffle blog post last week), I'm mixing it up and just chucking all the best items at you in one go.

There is a common thread at least and that is that all these items will slot into your wardrobe creating easy daytime outfits; practical, comfortable and stylish.

First up is a shacket. It isn't a jacket, nor a shirt but a hilariously named hybrid of the two, perfect for warmer weather and brilliantly wearable. These look great paired with metallic pleated skirts, faux leather leggings or over dresses. Any of these would look great with the silver lame skirt from Topshop below too.

Or go camo...

Or go all out in limited edition pink camo! This is surprisingly cool...

I like a shacket with one of these sparkly, glittery skirts or would wear the sparkly skirts for evening with heels and a good quality sheer tee shirt and leather jacket.

Jumpsuits are always in my eyeline, a wardrobe staple these days although I don't actually own one yet. I love both of these, especially the relaxed satin version by Hush. Hush are seriously rocking-it, they have nailed easy daytime glamour.

For really kicking back and relaxing, these Hush dungarees look great:

Great tops at Hush at the moment too. The marble print tee has sold out but new stock is coming in soon:
