January Outfits

The sparkly festivities have come to an end, the baubles are packed away for another year and we turn our thoughts to unrealistic goal-setting and January discipline followed by February failure! The overall mood is of good intentions but also of keeping it low-key and warm too 'cos it's freezing in London right now!

Relaxed Vibes

As a good antidote to all the sparkly glamorous outfits we've been wearing over Christmas, January is a great time to dress down and relax in luxurious natural fabrics like cashmere and silk. Before the bright Spring colours hit the shops, I'm keeping it muted and relaxed.

I love all these off-duty outfits but particularly the last one above. A soft fluffy jumper in grey (can't stop buying grey), with ripped jeans and very glam earrings to raise it up to interesting outfit status - love it!

Here's what's in the shops now to create these looks. I'll be buying the Jigsaw cashmere and wool blend grey jumper, these Topshop earrings and I already have a ton of ripped jeans but these from River Island are great:

Right, I'm off for a green tea or something equally dull! This weather is perfect for snuggling with a red wine so not sure how long it'll be until I crack. Happy January!
