J’adore Sezane! The cool French brand has got me a bit obsessed and this is the second blog I’ve been inspired to write, the first was on their great jumpsuit selection. They just do such great tops, and trousers and jumpsuits and dresses - everything they do is so goood. Dressing casually should be easy but the fact is for many it really isn’t. Wearing jeans and a top gets rather dull so feel inspired by their new collection!

Excellent tops and trousers:

A frilly white top with cool patterned wide legged trousers. This just looks so vintage-y and splendid I am desperate to buy it all. Teamed with a brown leather belt and brown wooden heels this look is perfection. The white version of this top is currently sold out online but they are re-stocking. It is available in the same print as the trousers and does look quite excellent worn as a co-ord too - like a jumpsuit. The store in Notting Hill has other sizes in the white and also the Selfridges concession.

Brilliant Dresses:

This is a young brand so quite a lot of the dresses are too young for a mid-40’s gal like me but the ones I would feel comfortable wearing are spot on. I think it’s the general relaxed vibe of this brand that really appeals to my inner style spirit! This fushia maxi would work for a posh summer event dressed up or dressed down too.

Or this one is a bit more sexy and I’m a massive fan of polka dots:

Beautiful Lace Blouses

Personally, one of the pieces I have consistently had in my wardrobe for years is a lace blouse and I still want more! Because my style is feminine I love these and especially worn with ripped up jeans to give it a but of edge and interest. Would also wear this with high waisted wide legged trousers or denim shorts. A classic that will be handy time and time again.

Love these shoes too!

Just wanted to finish on these cute suede bow shoes. I realise these might be ‘marmite’ a bit too girly for some but there are lots of other lovely sandals on the website that are a bit more low-key! I would love to wear these with light denim, distressed or not. I wouldn’t feel too over-dressed when going to the pub which is about as glamorous as I get these days!

A great summery selection for the weekends. I’m definitely Sezane obsessed!
