Sparkly weekend outfit inspiration
If you want to sparkle whilst going to pub, going out for dinner or whatever you're doing this weekend, there are some very glam wearable pieces in the shops right now to give you some weekend outfit inspiration and your look a kick up the bum!I was inspired this week by finding a pair of faded black jeans in H&M with black glittery studs all over them - check them out here in my Instagram feed. I'm jeans mad but sometimes feel as though my outfit looks a bit dull, then I try to do something different, wear a midi skirt, try a dress, but it never feels quite right so I usually just give up and go back to my jeans. How about adding some jewels ON the jeans, velvet on your boots or shoes and glittery or satin tops and BOOM a lot less ordinary.
A HUGE trend of the moment is the sock boot, they come in glitter, velvet and polyester, any material really but not leather 'cos that wouldn't work as a sock. If you want to update your wardrobe with something a bit different you NEED a neon pink sock boot! :) Very flattering on the ankle and a properly fantastic outfit upgrader...
All this frou frou glitter and glamour can look a bit overly girly, anchor the outfit with a mannish cut blazer or a herringbone smart coat. It's the unexpected mixes that give an outfit a bit of interest.
