Pale pink blazer with jeans

Pale pink blazer with jeans

For me, THE wardrobe staple for 2017 is a pastel pink, white or cream blazer.  It's always handy to have a few jackets in your wardrobe to help pull your outfits together. In fact, pulling on a jacket makes the outfit so if you have the mindset that you only need one jacket, maybe you're missing a trick! Here are three good reasons why a light blazer is so handy and well worth buying to keep your wardrobe up-to-date.

Outfit 1:

This item looks superb worn with ripped jeans and lace up heels with a camisole underneath for evening. The outfit above is more daytime appropriate with flats and a simple grey tee. I would maybe edge it up by wearing a thick statement necklace with this look.

Outfit 2:

Wear over any event dress, for Wimbledon, the races or whatever summer event you are going to. The soft colour is far more feminine than traditional black or navy blazers and looks less like you are going into the office. That said...

Outfit 3:

A pastel pink, white or cream blazer will update your work wardrobe giving you a more feminine but stylish look for the office. You will stand out as a rose in a sea of dreary corporate/business colours!
